Calendar — Monthly view. Days with jobs show an orange number badge. Tap any day to open the full day timeline.

Alerts — Automatically flags customers whose annual boiler service is overdue, due this month, or due next month — based on their last service date.

Customers — Your customer database. Store name, address, phone, boiler details and last service date. Backup and restore your data here.
👤 Adding a Customer

Go to the Customers tab and tap + Add Customer. You must add a customer before you can book a job for them.

Enter their name, address, postcode and phone number — these are required. Email is optional.

Add the boiler make and model (e.g. Worcester Bosch 30i) — this helps when looking up fault codes or manuals later.

Set the last service date if you've already serviced them. This activates the Service Alerts tab so you're reminded when they're next due.

Tap Save Customer. They'll appear in your database and in the customer dropdown when adding future jobs.
➕ Adding a Job

Tap + Add Job on any tab, or tap a day on the calendar then tap + Add Job for This Day.

Set the date, start time, and duration. Duration fills the correct slot on the day timeline automatically.

Select a customer from your database and choose the job type — Service, Repair, Installation, or Other.

Optionally add notes and a price. Tap Save Job — it appears on the calendar and syncs to the cloud.
🕐 Day Timeline View

Tap any day on the calendar to open the full day timeline, running from 6am to 9pm.

Each job appears as a coloured block at its start time. The block height reflects the job duration.

Tap any job block to open the Job Detail view — call, map, WhatsApp, edit, mark complete or delete.

Today's timeline shows a live orange line indicating the current time.
🔔 Service Alerts

Alerts are triggered automatically when a customer's last service date is set in their profile.

BoilerFix adds exactly 12 months to the last service date to calculate when the next one is due.

When you mark a service job as complete, the customer's last service date updates automatically — keeping alerts accurate.
💾Backup tip: Your data syncs to the cloud when you're logged in. If you're using the app offline, export a backup from the Customers tab weekly — save it to Google Drive or email it to yourself.
☁Sync tip: The sync indicator in the top-right shows your connection status. Any changes made offline will sync automatically when you're back online.
